An easy peach crumble made with juicy fresh peaches and a crisp oat topping. Ready in 30 minutes and perfect with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Preparazione: 5 min · Cottura: 25 min
Porzioni: 6
Ingredienti
- 4 ripe peaches
- 2/3 cup old fashioned rolled oats
- 1 tablespoon flaxseed
- 1/3 cup all purpose flour
- 4 tablespoons butter, chilled
- 3 tablespoons sugar, honey or agave nectar
Istruzioni
- 1. Preheat oven to 375°F degrees.
- 2. Chop the peaches and divide between 6 ramekins (or spread in an 8×8 inch baking dish).
- 3. In a mini food processor, combine the oats, flaxseed, and flour. Pulse to combine.
- 4. Add the butter and sweetener and pulse until the butter is in small pieces. Don't overdo it, you want crumbly, not a dough.
- 5. Scatter small clumps of the crumble over the peaches.
- 6. Place the ramekins on a sheet tray and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden.
Note
Notes
To bake in an 8×8 inch baking dish (or similar sized dish), bake at 375°F for 35 to 40 minutes, until the crumble is golden.
Works with any stone fruit. Try plums, nectarines, apricots, or a mix.
For the crispest topping, make sure your butter is well chilled before pulsing it in.
Store leftovers covered in the fridge for up to 3 days. Leave uncovered the first day to keep the topping crisp.
